Environmental
nanotechnology
for sustainability

ENano Lab at IIT Bombay investigates environmental nanotechnology for water and wastewater treatment. Our work combines membrane materials and processes with studies of how emerging contaminants move through the environment and how to control them. We design membrane surfaces and treatment technologies to address material limitations, the permeability–selectivity trade-off and fouling, with the aim of improving treatment performance and reducing cost.

Gogri Hub translational facility inaugurated

The Gogri Hub for Membrane Research at IIT Bombay inaugurated its translational research facility, bringing together membrane fabrication, module development, testing and scale-up. Prof. Singh highlighted the facility’s role in moving membrane innovations from laboratory research towards field applications.
